Back to Belmore expresses great admiration and gratitude to Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs CEO Todd Greenberg for his pivotal role over the past 5 years in laying the groundwork for local athletes to have a venue they can proudly aspire to and call home. Mr Greenberg showed his true strengt hs as a leader by committing himself to the restoration and preservation of Belmore Sports Ground as a multi-purpose sporting facility.
A special mention must go to the outgoing Chief Executive who played a vital role in transforming the historic venue into the top-class sporting facility it is today. The executive committee had the distinct privilege of working with Mr Greenberg, whose passion for Belmore Sports Ground always shone through.
We now have a solid platform from which Back to Belmore Inc. and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Rugby League Football Club can work constructively together towards the common goal of safeguarding this iconic venue for future generations of sports players. The Back to Belmore executive committee and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs clearly share a deep commitment to preserving and restoring Belmore Sports Ground as a multi-purpose sporting venue. From this basis, we are truly confident that our committee will continue to enjoy a friendly and warm co-operation with the venue's primary occupant in our relationship with incoming Bulldogs CEO Raelene Castle to achieve our shared goals as stakeholders of the most beautiful sporting facility in the world.
Back to Belmore looks forward to working cooperatively with Ms Castle in the interests of the Canterbury-Bankstown community at large to tackle the challenges facing Belmore Sports Ground and to achieve the best results for the iconic facility.
