What started as a grassroots campaign has grown into a leading advocacy group for the preservation and renewal of Belmore Sports Ground.

For two decades, you've helped keep the future of this iconic ground on the agenda and supported the work that has led to its next chapter, including the new Centre of Excellence.

From renewed investment in the ground to the return of NRL premiership matches in 2015, this success reflects the persistence and pride of this community.

I commend the dedicated committee and volunteers for your commitment and leadership.

Your hard work, and its lasting impact on sport in south west Sydney, will continue to be felt for generations to come.
