Back to Belmore Patron Luke Brailey will remain in his role through to 2027, following a five-year renewal of his term earlier this week by the executive committee.
President Luke Cevolani said Mr Brailey had done an outstanding job as the organisation's representative.
“Mr Brailey has been Back to Belmore's Patron for five years and has served in this role with distinction and honour. As our founding President, the deep knowledge he brought to the position when he started in July 2017 and the strong relationships he has built with our key stakeholders and project partners during his time as Patron have served Back to Belmore well,” Mr Cevolani said.
“Back to Belmore's relationship with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs is as strong as it has ever been since our inception 17 years ago. Mr Brailey's understanding of this important nexus, his knowledge of our movement and his personal connections will contribute to further engagement between the Bulldogs and Back to Belmore. I know that Mr Brailey's time ahead as Patron will be in every way as dynamic and fruitful, and the executive committee looks forward to working with him as our emissary in the years ahead.”
Mr Brailey previously served as head of Back to Belmore's governing body from 2005 until 2014 and remained as a senior consultant and advisor to the executive committee before being appointed Patron in 2017.
