Mark Cevolani, founding member of the Back to Belmore executive committee, has decided to resign at the 2012 Annual General Meeting to be held next Tuesday. Mr Cevolani submitted his resignation from the committee yesterday, according to Back to Belmore President Luke Brailey.
"I want to thank Mark for his commitment and dedication since the inception of our organisation in 2005," said Mr Brailey.
"He will be sorely missed. I wish him all the very best of good fortune with his future endeavours."
Mr Brailey acknowledged that serving on the Back to Belmore executive committee requires much more effort than attending meetings once a month.
"There's an enormous commitment required, so when people find themselves unable to give their time anymore, I understand that," he said.
The executive committee is scheduled to vote on a replacement for Mr Cevolani this evening, and will be formally announced next week at the 2012 Annual General Meeting.
