Back to Belmore Inc. has welcomed Adam Driussi as the newly appointed Chairman of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

“On behalf of the Back to Belmore executive committee, I congratulate Mr Driussi on his appointment as Bulldogs Chairman,” President Luke Cevolani said.

“We look forward to working closely with the new Chairman to ensure that the enduring bond between the Bulldogs and Back to Belmore remains strong. Our relationship is based on close ties between our shared priorities for the future of Belmore Sports Ground. I am confident we will continue to deepen our partnership in the years ahead, as we work to safeguard the historic facility for the next generation of athletes.”

Patron Luke Brailey praised outgoing Chairman John Khoury for bringing stability to the Bulldogs while he was the presiding officer of the club's board of directors.

“We are grateful to Mr Khoury for his willingness to work with Back to Belmore on critical issues and to help advance the interests of Belmore Sports Ground,” Mr Brailey said.

“I thank him for his immeasurable leadership, friendship and partnership during his tenure as Bulldogs Chairman and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

Mr Khoury formally announced his decision to step down and introduced Mr Driussi as the new Bulldogs Chairman at the club's 89th Annual General Meeting yesterday at Canterbury League Club in Belmore. Mr Khoury will continue serving on the Bulldogs board as Deputy Chairman.
