ADAM HAWSE, TEN NEWS REPORTER: ....And there's renewed talk tonight the Bulldogs are stepping up efforts to return to their former home Belmore Sports Ground. It's one of several alternate venues being looked at by the club to host occassional games away from ANZ Stadium.

ROBERT FUROLO, CANTERBURY MAYOR: I don't think there's a week that goes past where you don't hear someone saying 'Oh, I wish the Bulldogs would come back to Belmore, back to their natural home,' so there is strong support in our community.

ADAM HAWSE: Bulldogs' boss Todd Greenberg denied his club has already approached the State Government seeking financial assistance. Adam Hawse, Ten News.
