ANDREW Hill was last week named as the new chief executive of the Canterbury Bulldogs with the World Cup boss to take over at the end of the year.
Hill will replace the outgoing Raelene Castle who announced earlier this year she would be stepping down from her post as chief executive.
Hill was also the NRL's general manager of integration and game development before stepping into the CEO role at the Rugby League World Cup last July. A spokesman for the community organisation, Back to Belmore, welcomed the news.
"As chief executive of the Rugby League World Cup, he has performed brilliantly and we look forward to working closely with Mr Hill in the interests of Belmore Sports Ground and the Canterbury-Bankstown community at large."
